How To Help Us Preserve Our Natural Treasures

Annual Membership

Your annual membership support is critical to our care of some of the last of the natural lands in the region.

The Pennypack Trust has over 1,100 members who support our land preservation, stewardship, education and research goals. Our reforestation projects, trail repair work and weekend programs could not happen without the dedicated support of our members. Become a member of the Pennypack Trust and you'll be helping to sustain the wildlife habitat, native plant communities and spectacular views that are becoming increasingly rare in Southeastern Pennsylvania.


Also, with membership you'll receive many direct benefits:
A subscription to the Trust's newsletter, the Bulletin
"Coming Events" and birdseed sale flyers throughout the year
Discounts on gift shop and birdseed purchases
A window decal for your car to demonstrate your support of the Trust
Free or discounted admission to weekend family programs and events
Free admission and discounted purchases at 15 local nature centers
Plus, members at levels of $100 and above are invited to special receptions at the Trust each year.

Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations help fund special projects to restore the Pennypack Preserve to its healthy, natural state.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Trust has over 100 volunteers who help us with stewardship work in the preserve, office projects and special programs. We are always in need of new volunteers to help us carry out our mission, and there are many ways to get involved.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Outdoor trail, tree care and horticulture work
Office projects such as mailings and library upkeep
Special events including birdseed sales, creek clean-ups and educational programs
Greeting the public in the Trust's Visitors' Center
